Traditional radiology predominantly refers to diagnostic imaging. However, X-ray technology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Computed Tomography can also be used in an artistic approach. Furthermore, painting, crafting and programming artists, as well as artifical intelligence may work/ function in X-ray style.Radiological sujets may also be chosen. The resulting modern artwork is referred to as Radiology-Art. The project Radiology-Art.com is part of the Techspressionism-Movement and was founded in 2017 by Moritz H. Albrecht([M•H•A], Albrecht MH), who is a clinical, scientific and artistic radiologist, as well as an abstract painter based in Frankfurt (Germany). Albrecht, techspressionism.com-indexed visual artist and founder of the artist group Collective-λ provides a platform for Radiology-Artists to showcase their artwork in online exhibitions without charge.The digital museum currently exhibits 93 artworks from 23 artists and 13 countries (United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, England, Italy, France, Greece, Kosovo, South Africa, Russia, Iran, Australia). The main showroom is accompanied by four additional exhibitions dedicated to one specific artist, respectively. Radiology-art.com is a free and independent art-platform without any dedicated financial support for the curator who had received speaker fees from Siemens and Bracco years ago as a clinical & scientific radiologist.
